Car hire in Arguineguín

Arguineguín is the fishing village that stayed a village, with a large Scandinavian community and a daily life that doesn't hang on one-week tourism. For car hire that works in your favour: there are offices in the town itself, you're half an hour from the airport and at the mid-point of the whole south-west.

You're at the mid-point of the south-west

From Arguineguín, Puerto Rico is ten minutes, Maspalomas twenty and Playa de Mogán twenty-five. It's the most balanced base in the south-west if you plan to move every day: you're not at the end of the road, as in Mogán, nor in the middle of the bustle, as in Maspalomas. Anfi del Mar is five minutes along the coast.

Market Tuesday, and the rest of the week

On Tuesday mornings the promenade market fills the town and parking near the harbour gets hard. The rest of the week Arguineguín is one of the few places in the south where you still find a space without circling. If you're here on a Tuesday, leave the car in the upper streets and walk down: it's five minutes and saves you a lap of the village.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I collect the car if I'm staying in Arguineguín or Anfi?

Arguineguín has offices of its own, and the Puerto Rico ones are ten minutes away. The widest fleet and longest hours are still at the airport, half an hour on the GC-1, and for longer stays it usually wins on price. For a couple of days, renting here saves you the trip.
