The fair opens at 8:30, but last year the queue of cars stretched all the way to Puerto Rico, nine kilometres away. One road for everyone: the traffic and parking collapse early. If you drive, be there for opening and park up the hill; better still, come by bus or boat and skip the problem.

How to get there and where to park
The GC-1 to the very end, in Puerto de Mogán. This is what collapses: one road for everyone. Be there for opening (before 8:30) and park in the marked areas and upper village; never leave the car on the esplanade.
Global buses arrive without the jams: line 1 along the whole coast (Arguineguín, Puerto Rico, Amadores) and line 91 from the airport. The station is a few minutes from the fair.
The comfiest, prettiest option: Líneas Salmón links Arguineguín, Anfi, Puerto Rico and Puerto de Mogán by sea. From Puerto Rico usually hourly from 9:00. You arrive next to the fair, no parking.
Where to park
The town hall sets up several parking areas (marked in blue on the map) across Puerto de Mogán, close to the fairground. Arrive early, use these areas and always follow the Local Police and staff instructions.

What you'll find
This year the fair brings together 17 local farmer stalls, 13 craft stalls, 7 processed-product stalls and 12 food spaces, with over 10,000 kilos of freshly picked fruit. In past years the best sold out in a morning: coming early isn't just about traffic, it's about the produce.
The star varieties: Osteen, Valencia Pride and Gomera, sweet and perfectly ripe.
Local avocado of the traditional summer varieties, the other star.
Nearly 1,000 kg of dragon fruit, 800 of tropical pineapple and 500 of passion fruit: Gran Canaria's tropics.
Mango & avocado tapas and dishes, sweets and crafts, with live music all morning.
Live music from Mariachi Peleón, La Parranda Mejunge and El Son Cubano: a Mexican, Canarian and Cuban mix to accompany the morning.

Exactly where it is
Avenida de los Marreros pedestrian promenade, in Playa de Mogán, next to the harbour. The fair moves this year (previously at the Castillete esplanade): it's the same area as the Friday market.

Tips to make the most of it
- Go early: for the traffic and because the best produce sells out.
- Bring cash in small notes; not every stall takes cards.
- A cloth bag or trolley: you'll buy more than you think.
- Cap, water and sunscreen: it's outdoors and the sun bites.
- Buy the fruit last so you don't carry it all day.
