We ate at Rancho Tauro and ordered papas arrugadas, gambas al ajillo, queso frito, and paella de marisco. Unfortunately, the worst was the paella, totally inedible. I tried just one spoonful and had a horrible taste in my mouth all day. We returned it without hesitation. It didn't have the classic color, it wasn't even stuck to the paellera like a good paella should be, but full of broth. The rice was overcooked, the seafood looked boiled, and the taste was absurd and really unpleasant. Horrible. If you don't know how to cook these kinds of dishes, it would be better to remove them from the menu. The papas arrugadas seemed old and reheated in the microwave, almost burnt; we were hungry and ate them, but they were nothing special. The rest of the dishes were fine, but the paella completely ruined the experience. It was one of my favorite restaurants until four years ago, but after this visit, I won't be coming back, and I say that with great sadness. Positive point: the waiter was very nice.
