We loved the location and the town, but the apartment was a disappointment. · The location was excellent, and the view from the balcony was great. · Cramped living room, with just a 2-seater sofa and three hard chairs, despite it being a two double bedroom property. The kitchen counter had 3 stools (for 4 people?). Old kitchen with cupboards too high to reach, a cooker where one of the burners didn’t work, and the light above didn’t work either. Second bedroom had a cramped and dark shower room with no windows and no fan/ventilation. All the windows (except balcony doors) were covered in coloured/patterned film so you couldn’t see out, and it made the bedrooms dark. The gas bbq was rusty and dangerous, and when we complained, it was replaced with a small coal/briquette kettle bbq. The unfinished building work on the roof terrace next door made panels and screens rattle loudly through the night whenever there was a bit of wind, so sleeping was difficult sometimes.
