Great caves near the Salto del Perro dam that offer stunning panoramic views. They are also a refuge from the persistent sun of the southern part of the island. However, they seem to still have agricultural use, as there is plenty of animal droppings (we saw sheep on the way). So, even though it may seem like it at first, it might not be the best place to stop for a meal during a hike. The surroundings are dominated by bitter tabaibas and taginastes, although a solitary Canary palm stands out.
