Guided Tour of the Banana World in Arucas

Be amazed and come to discover Hacienda La ReKompensa, a farm covering 56,500 m2 with over 7,500 banana plants, 150 avocado trees, and a wide variety of fruit trees.

During our guided tour, lasting about 45 minutes, we will teach you everything about the cultivation of the main agricultural export of the Canary Islands. We will visit the traditional Canarian house dating back to 1804, which has been fully restored to its original architecture. Inside, you will find the Banana Museum, an interpretation center for this fascinating crop, and a shop where you can taste, included in the price, a selection of artisanal products made in our islands where our magical fruit takes center stage.

In the shop, we also have other products available for purchase, such as various jams, banana sweets, and even Banana Wine, as well as cosmetic lines made with banana.

Discover this unique place in the Canary Archipelago with splendid views of the Ocean and the Banana Sea in the northern part of the Island. It is the first Banana Museum in Gran Canaria and the only one in all the Canary Islands where you can see 25 different varieties of banana plants from all over the world.
