Gran Canaria Complete: From Coast to Peaks

Discover the lush green heart of Gran Canaria, an island known as a 'miniature continent' for the tremendous contrasts of its habitats and landscapes.

Starting from the tourist areas of Gran Canaria in the south of the island, we travel along the coast to reach our first destination, Arucas, where we will visit its Neo-Gothic Church. The journey continues to Teror, a pilgrimage site known for the Basilica of the Virgin of the Pine and its traditional balconies.

The stunning views of the valleys of Gran Canaria lead us to our next stop, the historic and indigenous village of Teror, one of the most interesting places for visitors, as it is a site of pilgrimage and tradition for the locals. There, we will visit the Basilica of Teror and take a stroll through the village, admiring its traditional balconies.

True to its name 'Cumbres de Gran Canaria', a visit to Tejeda is a must. Here, at the viewpoint of Roque Nublo, we will have a privileged view of this Natural Monument, as well as Roque Bentaiga and, on clear days, even Teide.

The descent offers spectacular landscapes, passing through Ayacata and the Mirador de la Degollada. The route culminates in the valley of Fataga, an impressive setting known as 'the valley of a thousand palm trees', where we will visit a traditional aloe vera plantation to learn about its properties.
