Gran Canaria in a Day

We start our tour heading southwest, visiting the artistic Puerto de Mogán, a fishing village transformed into one of the most picturesque and beautiful tourist centers in Gran Canaria. The village is known for its colorful bougainvilleas, colonial architecture, and narrow canals, earning it the nickname 'Little Venice'.

Our excursion continues through volcanic landscapes and mountains of a thousand colors until we reach the village of San Nicolás, the heart of tomato cultivation in Gran Canaria, with its seas of greenhouses producing countless varieties of tomatoes and the island's most delicious tropical fruits.

The stunning cliffs of the west coast lead us to Puerto de Las Nieves in Agaete, where we will see the remnants of the ancient 'Finger of God'. At Puerto de Las Nieves, you can enjoy lunch at a typical fishermen's restaurant at a very reasonable price.

Our tour will take you along the north coast, passing through one of the ancient kingdoms of the original inhabitants of Gran Canaria, the city of Gáldar. The tour will continue through Guía, known for its wonderful artisanal cheeses.

We proceed north to Arucas, a city famous for its banana plantations and the birthplace of rum in the Canaries.

Once in Las Palmas, we make a stop where you can stroll along the famous 'Las Canteras' beach and photograph the 'Alfredo Kraus' Auditorium or, if you prefer, you have the option to shop at one of the largest shopping centers on the island, 'Las Arenas'.

After an unforgettable day, we return south along the east coast of Gran Canaria, not before seeing the famous Avenida Marítima. Accompanied by its beautiful and slender palm trees, it has become the main artery of the city of Las Palmas.
