Description

Although it may not be a widely known activity, canyoning is one of the best ways to discover the island from a completely new perspective. Can you imagine descending through a ravine or canyon, following the course of the water? This sport combines a series of thrilling exercises such as walking, jumping, climbing down, swimming, rappelling, and, of course, enjoying every second of the experience!

The areas for the activity vary by season, and each time of year offers a unique environment full of adventure and fun. Our team decides based on the season where we will have the best time canyoning.

During the winter season, we head to the southwest area of the island where we descend in ravines such as: Cañoñ del Águila, Barranco de la Manta, Mulato, or Barranco del Toro. Although this is one of the most arid areas of the island, surprisingly, these ravines tend to be the most flowing and undoubtedly the most fun, with exciting jumps and natural slides that will make the adventure unforgettable.

During the summer season, we utilize the central and northern areas, such as Barranco de los Cernícalos. This ravine is distinguished by its much greener and forested environment, ideal for those looking to connect with nature. Although you won't find jumps or slides here, the beauty of the landscape more than compensates for it.

We operate with small groups of 2 to a maximum of 10 people per guide. Our staff are certified professionals as Sports Technicians. The activity is conducted strictly following all safety regulations. No prior experience is necessary, just the ability to swim, be over 12 years old, and not have an excessive fear of heights or vertigo.
